Spring 2023Justice System Interpreting Course Schedule
Deadline to Register: October 14, 2022. Classes begin on November 14, 2022 Internship / Intensive PracticeMarch 13 to April 24, 2023 This six‐week course is the final segment of JSI. Students will complete recorded interpretation assignments of authentic courtroom events, and advanced vocabulary research in legal matters. Additional materials for test preparation are also provided. Students will complete live court observations in their local areas. Live online lectures will address interpreter fatigue, translation theory, and test preparation. * Students are required to attend 6 of the 8 Live Lectures but are encouraged to attend all. |
